The weather has been either warm or cold so it has made the fishing mixed. That having been said we have been catching some nice trout on dry flies!

The grannom hatch has pretty much finished. Still some large brook duns and March Browns. Fish preferring the bigger dries right now.
The rain has stopped for the time being and the river is dropping back. Dust down the salmon gear!

The rain has curtailed early season salmon fishing so far but it will mean the rivers are in good shape and ready to fish!
The salmon season snow under way here and the water is perfect. Good news for the trout anglers that we saw LDO and plenty of midges hatching at lunchtime!
